Collectible first edition, first printing of Central African ivory trader and celebrated adventurer Alfred Smith's (aka Alfred Aloysius Horn or Trader Horn) account of his experiences on the dark continent and elsewhere. Per Simon and Schuster's practice of designating first editions, no additional printings indicated on copyright page and Roman numeral 1928 to title page. Volume II of the trilogy: Harold the Webbed or The Young Vykings. Bound in green cloth with gilt lettering and orange decorative elements. Tight, otherwise unmarked copy with light shelf wear.
