About This Item
New York: Reynal & Hitchcock, 1948. Second printing (stated). Hardcover. Fair/Good. 5 x 7 3/4. 3F. Full cloth-covered boards, in dustjacket. Scarce in dustjacket. The binding is tight, with intact hinges; no marks to text. However, the cloth is badly soiled where someone grasped the book with a very dirty hand, and there are some spots on the lower edge. Pages and endpapers are toned. The unclipped dustjacket is in better shape, with some small internal stains not visible from the outside, and medium wear including some small tears to the top edge and some losses at the spine ends. Back panel showing age-toning.
