In two volumes: Vol. I: Color frontispiece, xii, 1-433 (1) pp. map legend, Vol: II: ix, 435-880pp., (1) pp. legend for map. errata slip laid in. Illustrated with several photographic images of beautiful art of Totem Poles and their meaning and history. All the totem poles, house posts and frontals, and the stately grave pillars of British Columbia and Alaska have been included. The only exception is the important lot studies and published in the author's Totem Poles of the Gitksan, Upper Skeen River, British Columbia (Bulletin No. 61, National Museum of Canada, 1929, pp. 275, illustrations, 33) which was soon out of print. A very good set bound in pictorial paper wraps, endpapers are the maps used, some rubbing or wear to spines and edges. in protective mylar jackets.
