In original unclipped dustwrapper. Total Eclipse is set in the year 2020, where an international space team are exploring Sigma Draconis, nineteen light years from earth. They discover the remains of a sophisticated and advanced society. Notably they find the largest telescope imaginable. The novel is a mystery with the characters trying to figure out why this civilisation has disappeared, and where they have gone. They hope the knowledge from this will help them prevent the same thing from happening on earth. John Brunner was a British author of science fiction novels and stories. He is best known for his 1968 novel Stand on Zanzibar which is written about an overpopulated world. It won the 1969 Hugo Award for best science fiction novel. In original cloth binding held in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent with just some minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is excellent with very minor shelfwear to the head and tail of spine. Some handling marks to wraps, more visible to the rear wrap. Wrap is preserved in an acetate wrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean throughout. Fine
