Illustrated with stunning color photography in the old, somewhat "soft" style before razor-sharp digital photography. The subject matter is the Colorado River with many of the images dedicated to the country and canyons before the "ages of the dam-builders." With the current droughts some of that country is re-emerging. Decorated endpapers. A fine and beautiful book by a press that always did fine work. Fine, like new in dj and thus at the higher end of the price range for this title.
