Modern crushed morocco, raised bands, t.e.g., gilt inner dentelles. Spine sunned, boards toned at edges. Some slight offsetting from some of the plates and maps. Overall fresh and very good. An important and classic work of Canadiana, with some mention of the events of the War of 1812 and much history of the regions covered. Handsomely illustrated with lithographs depicting various landscapes and seascapes, and with the well-executed maps showing parts of eastern Canada in great detail. TPL 1031. LANDE 1591. VLACH 119.
