Reviews
On Mar 7 2014, a reader said:
Serpico has his weaknesses as a researcher and writer. This is certainly not a comprehensive history. But then, comprehensive rail historys have no market and Serpico would have had to self publish such an epic work. Serpico's present book abundantly overcomes its faults with excellent photos, a grand Death Valley area railroadia with tickets, forms, maps, time tables, company passes and much more. I heartily recommend this as the best T&T book ever published (despite it's faults). I purchased one of the very first copies and will buy more for family and friends. -- Art Rader, Las Vegas (Former Nevada journalist, former Nevada state legislator, BA-History, UNLV; writer of unpublished UNLV MA-History thesis on the same subject matter.)
