About This Item
First Edition, First Printing, with ads dated 1.09. The book is bound in the Original publisher's green cloth. The binding is tight with light wear to the edges with sunning and a slight lean to the spine. Housed in a contemporary custom green cloth dustwrapper (I doubt it s a publisher s wrapper, though a few early Wells titles have surfaced in cloth wrappers from publishers) with a slightly worn red leather label. A previous owner has tooled First Edition 1909 in gilt at the bottom of the wrapper spine and has Joyce Portrait written in faded black ink on wrapper spine. A very good copy of a rare unique item.
Synopsis
Andrea Barrett is the author of five novels, most recently The Voyage of the Narwhal , and two collections of short fiction, Ship Fever and Servants of the Map . She lives in New York State.
