Exceptional copy of this Rare and engaging collection of jingling First World War poems that have solemn content.<br/> It's the sort of poetry that men at war chant while marching or sing with bravado. With faint though handsomely inscribed brown ink note by the author-artist: "This Volume is No. 32 of the Author's Edition. A.Y.D." on half title.<br/> <br/> Excellent though pathos-filled ink drawing of three dead Tommies lying in cratered ground beneath barbed wire.
