NY: Universe Books, 1964. (USA) Stated first American edition, 1964. NO markings, remnant of bookstore label to inside back covers, rubbing to cover corne rtips and to lower cover edges, exposing portions of the cover boards, Good used copy; no dust jacket as pulbished. Illus glossy boards with brown cloth spine, no page numbers, [78]pp with full-page illustrations done in bold style with dark brown paint by Francois. The Hungarian born French illustrator seems to have used a subtractive monotype technique on these drawings. Tabby goes to London with the boy Tom, who fetches up in a Lost Boys’ Home run by cats.
