Nineteen re-tellings of traditional stories such as Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, Dick Whittington, Rumlplestiltskin, Rapunzel and more. Gilt titles on spine still bright, as are those on front board, along with small gilt illustration of Rapunzel in her tower. 320pp, 3 colour and 17 b&w illustrations.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Watson, A H. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
