About This Item
London: Methuen, 1929. A first edition, first printing published by Methuen in 1929. A very good book with slight bumping to the head and base of the spine. Some spotting to the text block and to the prelims. Some off-setting to the endpapers. In a very good unclipped wrapper with browning to the spine which has a little wear and light chipping to the spine tips and corners. Browning is also evident to the edges and spine - one neat internal repair to the head of the spine. A charming play based on Kenneth Grahame's much loved 'The Wind in the Willows'.
