Boston: Little, Brown & Co., 1955. Green hardcover cloth binding has minor wear at corners, clean square and tight. Name on fep and back endpaper, else interior clean and bright. DJ is price clipped, else crisp with only a couple of minor closed tears. 194 pages with index of first lines of poems. Foreword by May Hill Arbuthnot. Richards is the daughter of Julia Ward Howe. She wrote these poems for her daughter. According to the foreword: ".no hurdy-gurdy ever turned out gayer tunes or made a more joyful noice than Laura E. Richard's Tirra Lirra.". Illus. by Davis, Marguerite. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 5th. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good.
