A tight and pristine first edition of this L.A.P.D. murder mystery, with a fine red-bordered bookplate on half-title page boldly signed and inscribed by the author: "To Howard / Stephen J Cannell." Cannell (1941-2010) was an incredibly prolific novelist and television producer and screenwriter.
