Macmillan, London., 1909. First edition. Octavo. pp x, 208. Four pages of adverts at rear. [One of 2000 copies]. Period binding signed C.J. Sawyer (probably by Sangorski & Sutcliffe) of full red morocco with raised bands, gilt rules and inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. The original cloth covers are bound in at the end. The author's third collection of poetry. On the front pastedown is the elaborately engraved armorial (!) bookplate of the prominent American banker Albert Henry Wiggin; on the front free endpaper is the armorial bookplate of his grandson the Broadway producer Albert Wiggin Selden.Very good indeed.
