New York: Doubleday, Doran, 1944 Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. The book is in red cloth with blue stamping on the spine. It is clean and tight with the only defect being the rounded spine ends. It is a stated first edition. The jacket has a faded spine and chipping at the top and bottom and two tiny holes. Two of the flap folds have very small chips at the top. It is not price clipped and the original price of $2.00 is still there. There is a book plate laid in with the author's signature written by his hand..
