First publication in book form of a series of humorous science fiction (time travel) stories, most of which had been published previously in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. Grendel Briarton is the pseudonym of Reginald Bretnor--note that the introduction to the book was written by Breton! Both the wraparound cover illustration and the internal illustrations are by noted American artist Bruce Ariss. The book is clean and tight, with some edgewear and very minor chipping at spine extremities; previous owner's name written on front free endpaper.. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good.
