Hardcover. black-&-white illustrations. pp. 352.,8vo,,Original decorated blue cloth blocked in black, white and gilt,All plates and map present and placed as stipulated in list of illustrations. All page edges stained olive. Spine slant, boards rubbed at edges, cloth lightly scuffed. Front hinge weak, rear hinge cracked. Binding shaken. Very occasional foxing, else contents clean. A decent reading, or placeholder, copy. Newbolt 73.1. With eight illustrations by W. H. Overend, a map, and two plans, ending with 32 pages of ads.
