A straight and sound copy, rebound, with minor edge wear, discoloration to fore-edge of front board, and small perforations to rear upper joint; internally foxed, lacking 4 unnumbered pages at rear, but otherwise complete and clean: Good.

First American issue of the sequel to Alice in Wonderland, preceding the Lee and Shepard edition. LOVETT & LOVETT 17. Not in WILLIAMS, MADAN, GREEN, and uncommon in the trade.
