About This Item
London: Chapman & Hall, 1910. 1st ed. . Red Cloth. VG/No Jacket. 15 Cm x 22.5 Cm. xvi+295; only internal flaw is a few slightly clumsy openings leaving thin extending strips, these all towards top; covers clean, bright and unworn except for spine end fraying and thin chipping apove textblock edge, in the case of the bottom spine I have halted further damage with transparent tear repair tape, which, against red cloth, does remain visible, there is also a very thin short cut of some sort above this, barely visible, a couple of small dents, of little consequence, on back should also be noted I guess. Despite spine end problem this remains an exceptionally good unmarked and tight copy of this interesting outsider's view of the race situation in the U.S. during the first decade of the 1900s. Quite uncommon. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
