About This Item

Reviews
On Aug 18 2022, a reader said:
No doubt Meredith's firstvbook is a classic. The description of the experience is detailed and heart felt. The writing is consistent and concise. What one man went through by himself with unprecedented federal protection can only make one wonder. Meredith is a true inspiration despite the controversy that he attracted in later life. His determination to overcome is a testament to strategy and the method in his madness is one of the great stories of the civil rights era.
