Three quarters leather over marbled boards, gilt bands on spine, brown endpapers, includes original map in Volume 1 (it has a little light foxing and one marginal 5mm closed tear but is otherwise in very good condition). 398pp (foldout map at front and 5 plates), 368pp (2 plates), 372pp (4 plates), 304pp (1 plate plus foldout table at rear), 472pp (2 plates), 503pp (6 plates), 462pp (3 plates plus foldout table at rear). Internally in very good condition, just a little age spotting, mostly confined to endpapers and plates. Externally the spines are rubbed, volume 7 has a 3cm by 2cm surface chip at the spine tail and a tear near the spine head and is cracked along front joint (front board still attached but is working loose). One or two pages per volume have minor chips to margins, not affecting text. Overall an attractive set, complete with map and all plates. Packed weight 5kg.. Three-Quarter Leather. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
