London: Methuen and Co Ltd, 1934. 1st Edition . Very Good Minus. 5 x 7.5 inches (13 x 18.5 cm). Lacking jacket. Green buckram binding with a few marks to front board and spine. Light foxing to page edges, very clean text throughout. Two pages creased to upper corner. Includes the play version of The Secret Agent. Originally published as a novel in 1907, Conrad adapted the work into a four act play in 1920 and issued it in 1921 as a limited edition of c.50 copies. He revised this to three acts for the first stage performance in 1922, and this version was issued as a limited edition of 1000 copies. This is the first trade edition and reprints the original four act version. . Overall condition is Very Good Minus. International postage will be less than the stated rate.
