Contemporary half calf, spines elaborately gilt tooled with contrasting labels, marbled paper-laid boards and matching edges (a near Fine set). Pp. [vi] + 335 + [2] blank [&] [iv] + 333 + [3] blank [&] [iv] + 373 + [3] blank (title page of vol I with partial loss at bottom corner; previous owner's armorial bookplate on front paste-downs with offsetting on facing front endpapers and neat inscription at top edge of front endpapers in contemporary hand).
