Lexington, KY: Stamperia del Santuccio, 1951. Hammer, Victor. Octavo, 182pp. One of 152 unnumbered copies printed by Carolyn Reading in black and red American Uncial type on Japanese Hosho paper. Translated from the German by Victor Hammer and Thornton Sinclair with an introduction by Hammer. Autograph note from Hammer to Florentine scholar Ulrich Middeldorf laid in. Middeldorf's copy with his bookplate and a small note in pencil on the front paste-down. Scattered foxing to leaves and boards, spine sunned, fore-corners bumped. Prospectus bound in. (Holbrook, p.42).
