A very good, generally clean, neat hard cover with minor shelf wear, binding tight, paper cream white. In a good minus, moderately worn dust jacket which was clearly trimmed (likely to fit a protective cover) andwith several short tears and chipping at top and bottom of back strip and flap folds, with original price present.

Dust jacket is very clean, no spine sunning short tear to rear panel. Dust jacket has no price printed on it (and no blind stamp to rear cover), still, I believe this some book club reissue, circa 1955. A very nice copy. It comes at you like a shapely giant. It is fiction on the Grand Tour. And nowhere is there better contemporary history.
