Three large 8vo. volumes; in the publisher's green cloth bindings, with a vignette of arabic motif stamped to the center of each blind embossed board; Volume I has loss to the front endpaper where it had adhered to the pastedown; xxxii, [1],2-618 pages, [4]; xii, 643 pages, [3]; xii, 763 pages, [3]; each volume with an additional engraved half-title page; the front hinge of Volume II is a bit wobbly, but holding well.~~Volume I has been rebacked, and retains the original (slightly trimmed) spine.~~A copiously illustrated edition of The Thousand and One Nights, translated by Edward William Lane, with frequent in text engraved illustrations by William Harvey. Complete in three volumes. Very Good binding.
