BG6 - A tight, clean, sound copy with minor overall shelf wear plus there is some tape staining on the cloth, inside surfaces of the boards, and front and back endpapers from where the dust jacket was taped down to the boards plus there are the usual library marks and stamps on the spine, bottom outside paper edges, front endpaper, and title page plus there is some light yellowing on the top outside paper edges. The dust jacket shows moderate overall shelf wear mainly in the form of heavy wrinkling overall plus there is heavy fading on the spine plus there is some tape staining on the front and back endflaps from where the dust jacket was taped down to the boards. Translated from the German by John Conway. An appraisal of the major works of Thornton Wilder by a European professor of English literature. Bibliography, endnotes, 206p.. First American Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
