Boards worn and rubbed, fraying to spine, library plate to front board and front endpaper, text clean, acceptable condn. Ada Cambridge (1844-1926) married a curate in England and emigrated to Australia in 1870. She became a well-known writer. The Australian Dictionary of Biography describes "Thirty Tears in Australia" as "engaging and valuable" and calls Cambridge "the first significant Australian woman poet ". 1st edition. Boards.
