Original quarter blue cloth with blue boards. Purple endpapers. In original unclipped ($16.95) pictorial dust jacket by Christian Birmingham. Map by Lothar Meier, interior illustrations by the author. 349, [1] pages. Inscribed by Funke on front free endpaper with accompanying sketch in silver ink. Some offsetting in gutter of front endpapers. Very faint sunning to edges of boards and jacket; slight hint of bumping to spine ends.

Synopsis

The Thief Lord is a 2000 children's book by German author Cornelia Funke, whose books have been published in many other languages. It is available in English from Chicken House Publishing, Ltd and Scholastic. It was published in German in 2000 and translated into English by Oliver Latsch in 2002 for The Chicken House publishing company. It was also adapted into a film in 2006.
