A smartly bound first edition of this collection of poetry from Scottish poet Thomas Campbell. First edition. A collection of poems including: Theodric: a Domestic Tale, To the Rainbow, Song of the Greeks, Adelgitha, The Last Man, and many others. Written by Thomas Campbell, a Scottish poet who was a founder and the first President of the Clarence Club and a co-founder of the Literary Association of the Friends of Poland. Bound in full straight grained morocco with gilt. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with scattered spotting and minor age toning to the endpapers. Very Good
