The Almanac a year before "the crash of '29, Texas was already rapidly growing from cow country (12+ pgs. on the subject here) frontier state (capital, Austin, pop. 34,000+) into a truly "big state." Published by the Dallas News, A. H. Belo Corp., Dallas, TX Tooled heavy cloth (likely) or leather cover over boards with inlaid gilt lettering on fr including prior owner's name. Cover light spine end curls & wear. corners light bumps & wear & small tear to outside back. Inside, apparently some kind of insects ate at the edges of the f.e.ps. & cover paste downs only. (Ffep is title page.) Pages lightly tanned. Book as GOOD+.
