This, the author's last novel, follows The Pursuit of Love (1945) and Love in a Cold Climate (1949) to conclude the Radlett trilogy. Octavo. Original green boards, spine lettered and decorated in gilt. With dust jacket designed by Cecil Beaton. Front free endpaper with ownership signature of one Alice M. Hoyle. Splash marks to rear cover and bottom edge, contents clean. A very good copy in price-clipped dust jacket, couple of nicks, occasional rubbing, very good indeed.
