EXCEPTIONAL Condition of a Very Special Copy embellished and Extra-Illustrated with a cute bear's head by marvellous author-artist Michael Hague. Issued without a dust jacket. Michael Hague (b.1948) is one of America's finest illustrators. In this bookseller's opinion, his artistry is as excellent as Arthur Rackham's. He has illustrated several classics to include The Wind in the Willows, Alice in Wonderland, one of his finest achievements, The Hobbit; also wonderfully illustrated books on Irish folktales, fairy tales, book(s) on wizards, unicorns, several adorable books on bears--including this Extra Special Extra-Illustrated Copy with a Very appealing BEAR's HEAD.
