About This Item
New York: George Sully, 1921. Pictorial boards. Very Good. The 1921 1st (and very likely only) edition of this charming look at tea-cup reading and fortune-telling by tea-leaves. Solid and VG in its wonderful pictorial boards, with light spotting to the panels and a small, neat inscription pasted-onto the front free endpaper. A small owner blindstamp as well at the top of the title page. Still though very presentable. 12mo, includes 10 illustrations complementing the text. Chapter headings include: "Ritual and Method of Using the Tea-Cup"; "An Alphabetical List of Symbols with Their Significations"; "Specimen Cups, with Interpretations" and "Omens"
