Signed limited first edition, one of only 525 numbered copies signed by Pogany, a sumptuous production with Art Noveau binding, rarely found in such beautiful condition with the box. 10.5'' x 7.25''. Original full grey calf with elaborate blind-tooled ornamentation. Pictorial endpapers, top edge gilt, other edges uncut. In original fleece-lined pictorial box. Printed on heavy grey paper. Illustrated by Pogany with 16 tipped-in color plates, full-page black-and-white images, orange in-text illustrations, calligraphic text and decorative initials.
