Top edge a little dust soiled, circular blind impressed original book seller name and place to top corner of front free end paper- Franklin, Central Rlwy Station Newcastle. Pencil name of author to reverse. Erased previous owner name to top margin of title with date remaining under-1852. Light occasional marginal soiling, binding remains fairly tight but unsurprisingly glue to back strip beginning to fail, sewing and mull remains secure with no cracks to end papers. No other defects). A very Handsome copy.
