About This Item
Hardcover no dust jacket, likely as issued - 1829 first edition, Volume II only - text appears clean and unmarked but the two front free end papers are halfway torn from the bottom, there is an apparent water mark on the wrinkled first front free end paper, and there is age toning throughout; binding is square and tight however it is starting to loosen at the front of the book; the half tan leather (spine and corners) are worn but lovely floral gilt pattern on spine is still visible, the red marbled paste-down paper covered boards are worn and the previous owner's name plate is on the inside front cover -- Dependable seller since 1994, daily shipping with tracking from our brick and mortar store in Madison, Wisconsin.
