US: Pellegrini & Cudahy for Arkham House, 1952. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First Edition. Vermilion cloth over boards with black-stamped particulars to spine. Deckled edges. Pages are clean and unmarked. Wear to head and tail of spine; corners bumped; otherwise, boards are clean and bright. Text block is clean. Small sticker from "Books & Things" on rear pastedown. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket, illustrated by Ronald Clyne, shows moderate sunning but is otherwise clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
