[CHILDREN] [WOMAN AUTHOR]. 4to; 190 [2]pp; bright orange pebbled cloth over board color pictorial portrait onlaid to front in blind-stamped frame, gilt-lettering on front and spine; color pictorial endpapers; color pictorial title-page; color illustrations throughout; never completely opened, as new, fine. First published in 1926, the My Travelship series of books was very successful, and 1954 was its thirtieth printing. The other two books in this series were Little Pictures of Japan (1925) and Nursery Friends from France (1927). Olive Beaupre Miller (1883-1968) established the company The Book House for Children in 1919, and employed a large female staff. Exceptional condition for this well-loved children's classic.
