London: Baldwin & Craddock, 1832 Complete Eighteen-Volume Set of Edgeworth's Tales and Novels as issued by Baldwin & Craddock 1832-33, small octavo, finely bound in contemporary 3/4 blue calf & marbled boards, 2 brown morocco labels per volume, 6 spine compartments separated by 5 raised bands, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, engraved additional title pages & frontipieces, nice shape with some slight chipping to ends & edges, boards rubbed here & there in spots, leather title label to volume II (Moral Tales I) has fallen away, handsome bookplate to pastedowns, no markings, pages clean & unfoxed, a very nice complete set, scarce as such; FULL CONTENTS: Castle Rackrent, Essay on Irish Bulls, An Essay on the Noble Science of Self-Justification (Vol I); Moral Tales (Vols II - III); Popular Tales (Vols IV - V); Tales of Fashionable Life (Vols VI - X); Belinda (Vols XI - XII); Leonora with Letters on Several Subjects (Vol XIII); Patronage and Comic Dramas (Vol XIV - XVI); Harrington and Thoughts on Bores (Vol XVII); Ormond (Vol XVIII).
