Good. hardback. 1st Edition. hardback, quarto, blue cloth lettered gilt, rubbed at head and foot of spine, bottom 22 of the upper joint just showing signs of a split, the upper hinge cracked but the stitching remains robust, minor spotting at the head of the title page, gift inscription to a previous owner on the front free endpaper, a memorial gift inscription to another on the facing page and a letter detailing the gifting is tipped-in at the rear pastedown. A good copy, b&w plates, some of which are tissue-guarded, viii + 228pp.
