About This Item

Self-Published, 1915. First Edition. Hardcover. GOOD. [2], 3-47 pp. Frontispiece portrait of the author. Small 8vo 7.5' x 5', diced green cloth, gilt stamped lettering in blind ruled border. Covers moderately rubbed with a few small stains, tied mark to tail edge, sound and unmarked otherwise. Dubbed by bookseller Garret Scott, 'the crustacicidal lunatic proto-dadaist of New York,' Griffin's bizarre and virtuosically alteric amateur poetry has had a steady cult following since the 60's. His self-published oritinals are quite scarce.
