Newport, PA: The News Printery, 1984. First, Limited Edition. First printing. Quarto (28.5cm.); black publisher's cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering, no dustwrapper; VI,141pp. Textblock displays mild handling wear and yellowing to edges. Final pages of book are blank, but have some tears and creases; else pages are clean and sound. Boards slightly worn on surfaces, with some trivial rubbing to edge corners and along crown/heel of spine. Overall a Near Fine or better copy. An accomplished outdoorsman, Boyer also produced a column for The News-Sun, a newspaper based in Newport, PA. In this book, he shares his insights on hunting, fishing, and gun and animal control-related legislative issues of the time. This is a signed copy, number 506 of a limited run of 1800. This book also has a gift inscription from an unknown party on front free endpaper.
