Not a Perry Mason, but book #8 of only 9 titles in the author's Doug Selby series. Orig. serialized in the Saturday Evening Post, this is the 1948 FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from Wm. Morrow, with DJ design by Charles Lofgren. Hardcover 8vo has gray cloth-covered boards with red lettering & design to spine. Condition is Good: generally quite clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white & unmarked, but pages 225/26 & 27/28 were torn & taped. Heavy rubbing to lower extremities & corner bumping. The unclipped DJ (with orig. $2.50 price intact) is only Fair, downgraded due to dampstaining which mainly impacts the back cover & verso; front image is clean.
