[6], 143, [1] pp. Illust. title, with over 100 text illustrations, photos, maps, diagrams (1 large folding), some colour-tinted. Gray illustrated softcovers, cover art & lettering in red (slight shelfwear), NF copy. First edition of this scarce and invaluable report for the City of Tacoma, WA redevelopment movement, which intended to recognize the buildings being restored by their owners, and to establish special tax and zoning incentives in order to further promote the movement. This work details the buildings rehabilitated so far, some suggested projects, as well as providing an invaluable local history of Tacoma’s historic downtown.
