Very Good. C. W. Carter, [Salt Lake City, Utah. ] 4 ½ x 7. Very Good. Photographers imprint stamped on verso; reads C. W. Carter - S. L. City. Title and previous owners annotations in contemporary manuscript. Mount has light soiling, photo has light yellowing and soiling. This cabinet card depicts the Salt Lake Tabernacle built between 1864-67. It can seat around 7,000 people. Charles William Carter (1832-1918) produced numerous views of Utah and Mormon life. He was active in Salt Lake City from 1867 to 1896. Mautz 601. .
