About This Item
Fourth Edition. Reading age: 12 years and up. Used book has some markings, writing from the previous owner. No DJ. Some bumping, rubbing, creasing on the top, spine, edges, corners. Outer page edges with tanning, browning, stains and foxing. Outer cover is creasing from being pulled back while reading. Slight dampstain on tail outer edges near the spine, but dampstain can not be seen on the inside on the pages and has not interfered with any of the reading material. In this unique fusion of logical thought and inimitable whimsy, Over 350 ingenious problems involve classical logic: logic is expressed in terms of symbols; syllogisms and the sorites are diagrammed; logic becomes a game played with 2 diagrams and a set of counters. Two books bound as one. 1958. U17.
