New York: Random House, 1977. Book Club Edition. Hardcover. Fair/Good . In black boards with gilt to type on spine. A well loved copy with rubbing through paper in spots to rounded corners and spine ends. General rubbing to boards and moisture stains to top and front edges of rear pastedown. Binding is solid and contains 2 page color spread as issued. Jacket has 3/4 inch tear to top of front panel and general rubbing wear - mostly at corners and spine ends. Moisture stain to top edge at spine, rear panel and rear flap as well as along top half of rear flap crease. Cover and two page spread by the Brothers Hildebrandt.

Synopsis

A young man and his brother set out on a journey to find the magically "Sword of Shannara". Only the mystical sword can defeat the evil overlord and his minions.
