Written by mrs Hall famous for her books on Ireland this is a charming little book, the front cover is bound in a buff coloured cloth with embossed blind decoration faded gilt titles to the spine and a cartouche on the front board including a brown stain , frontis is a charming cottage scene with two children & dad by the fire slightly water damaged to the extemitys, rear ep is torn in half gift inscrition to fep, still a tight & internally clean very scarce childrens book. . First Edition. Hard Back Buff . Very Good. Illus. by Frontice.
